URBAN DECAY
Urban Decay has challenged the industry’s definition of beauty since 1996. Since their inception, Urban Decay disrupted the sea of pink dominating makeup counters everywhere. Our version of “pretty” has always been pretty different. Urban Decay appeals to those who relish in their individuality and embrace what makes them different.
To relaunch the brand, we created a world of chaos, challenging the industries stance on inclusion and current trends, using our five citizens to break this mold.
My role in the project was to create the key visuals for in store and online displays, develop the Pretty Different brand lockup and accompanying typography for the title sequences, and assist in art direction. I worked across the brand relaunch, Stay Naked Foundation and Holiday 2019.
